Sandwiches have always been a big part of our lives.
We love the fact that the definition of a sandwich is so open to interpretation. Any meal can become a sandwich and any sandwich can stand alone as a meal.
We believe in integrity of ingredients and strive to achieve this through making everything from scratch. All sandwiches start with some kind of bread and we have always felt that to create the best sandwiches, you need to create the bread. Thats why we bake our own breads daily.
Over our nearly 15 year careers, we have slowly built a picture of what we want to be in the community. A large part of that is ensuring that we provide fresh, seasonal and ethical food choices at all levels. We achieve this by using, among other things, 100% Fair Trade & Organic coffee from Peoples Coffee, sustainably caught fish from Leigh Fisheries, free range animal products from The Grey Lynn Butcher, and compostable packaging from Innocent Packaging.
We are always trying to keep it fresh and interesting, so the menu is ever changing and evolving.
